Chelsea Luther, M.D.

Dr. Chelsea Luther is honored to join such a fabulous team at Dermatology Specialist of Canton and Hamzavi Dermatology. She was born in Southfield, MI and raised in Michigan. She obtained her undergraduate degrees in Biosystems and Biomedical Engineering from Michigan State University. After completing a year of skin cancer research in Cambridge, MA, Dr. Luther graduated with honors from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Grand Rapids, MI. During her time in medical school, she researched melanoma and melanoma treatments. She completed her medicine internship at Beaumont Hospital. Dr. Luther received robust training in medical, surgical, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology from dermatologist leaders through the Henry Ford Health System for her dermatology residency. She has won awards for her teaching and presentation skills as well as attended special conferences for psoriasis, pediatrics, surgery and cosmetics. Dr. Luther is a proud member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society. She has presented nationally and internationally and has published in prestigious dermatology and cancer medical journals as well as contributed to textbook chapters. On a personal note, her husband is also from Michigan, and they have two daughters and an English Bulldog. Dr. Luther loves treating all skin, hair and nail conditions and looks forward to meeting her new patients.
